Custom floor-to-ceiling cabinetry anchors one corner of the room and offers a tall corner pantry. Appliances from Kitchen Things were meticulously integrated into the custom cabinetry, including wall oven and combi microwave, dishwasher, fridge and concealed range hood.

Precision-cut Engineered Stone countertops in Prime Stone ‘Athena’ are durable, practical, and a key note of the monochrome palette. An extension into the threshold adjoins the sitting room below with a bar for one.

Against the white benches and cabinetry, black details offer valuable contrast. Archant ‘Edge Straight’ drawer and cupboard handles, Anzio pantry door handles, Mercer Duro Granite sink, integrated waste disposal and Uno Gooseneck mixer were all chosen in black.

The most outstanding feature of this Modern Kitchen is the custom rolling island. It’s substantial and sturdy with locking wheels, but can be easily repositioned to entertain or to facilitate a kitchen project. The overhanging countertop allows for four seats, making the island a mobile breakfast bar. Capped in the familiar white marbled Engineered Stone, it offers a cassette of deep drawers on one side and ‘secret’ push-to-open cupboards on the other.
