In this project we find yet more evidence of Modern Kitchens’ flawless custom cabinetry design and execution expertise.

Providence boasts a circumfluent Caesarstone ‘Atlantic Salt’ engineered stone benchtop that turns 180° through 5 facets. Set into the stone surface are a Burns & Ferrall Classic Delta Double Sink with Drainer, Greens Astro II Pull-Down Mixer and Electrolux 70cm Induction Cooktop. Protecting the walls is a wraparound #33 Magnetic Painted Glass splashback from GlassArt NZ.

Custom floor to ceiling cabinetry encloses key features of the angular room, including the vast Electrolux fridge and working-height Westinghouse 60cm Pyrolytic Double Oven. A bespoke glass-fronted display cabinet makes perfect use of an awkward corner.

The premium panelling from Dezignatek’s Thermoform range is as hard-wearing as it is refined. Shaker-style ‘Oslo’ panel profile was chosen for doors and drawers, while the ‘Levante’ profile offers a tongue-and-groove look to the kitchen peninsula carcass. Sarnen Brushed Anthracite D-handles from Archant actuate the doors and drawers.

Only a little more modest, the spacious attached scullery uses variations of the kitchen’s theme. Pacific Quartz ‘Pacific Grey’ engineered stone benchtops were perfectly detailed to retain a Burns & Ferrall Designer Aquis Butler Sink and another Greens Pull-Down Mixer. The broad splashbacks are #79 Tirau Painted Glass, and the doors, drawers and custom floating shelving units all feature Silver Strata Melteca panels.
